Hoopla Alternative

Hoopla alternatives for Salesforce teams: what to know first

Hoopla is a broadcast product built around office TVs, and it does that well. It has also changed owners twice, to Raydiant in 2021 and then to Displai Systems in 2025, and it will not show you a price without a demo. Novigem runs inside Salesforce Lightning where your reps already work, publishes its pricing, and includes a wallboard for the screen on your floor in every plan. Where Hoopla is still ahead is broadcast production and the hardware it supplies.

Teams evaluating Hoopla alternatives usually arrive with one of three questions. Whether the product is still being invested in after two changes of ownership, whether a TV-first design still fits a distributed team, and what it costs, since the price is not published.

Hoopla is a broadcast product and that is where it is strong. Novigem has a wallboard of its own now, included in every plan, so a screen on the sales floor is no longer a reason to rule it out. What Novigem does not match is the production side: video segments, the wider recognition formats, and the hardware Hoopla ships you.

Novigem is a managed package that runs inside your Salesforce org. Points fire the moment a rep saves a record, on any object, with nothing copied out to a second system. The comparison below covers where that is worth something and where it is not.

Hoopla data taken from hoopla.net, its AppExchange listing and the Raydiant and Displai Systems announcements, checked 20 August 2026. Rows marked “could not verify” are exactly that: we found no public source either way and we are not guessing. Confirm them with Hoopla before you decide.

The differences that matter

What to evaluate when switching from Hoopla

01

Hoopla has changed hands twice, most recently in 2025

Worth knowing before you sign anything, because it is hard to find. Raydiant acquired Hoopla on 12 March 2021. Then in May 2025 Raydiant's assets, described as its products, technology and customer contracts, were sold to Displai Systems Inc., a Delaware corporation. raydiant.com now redirects to displai.ai, and Hoopla support runs through a displai.ai address. Hoopla itself is alive and being invested in: the site was relaunched in August 2026 with new content. But the Salesforce side tells a different story. Its AppExchange package was last updated in February 2023, still ships under the raydiantinc namespace from the previous owner, and carries no reviews at all. If Salesforce is where your reps live, ask what the roadmap for that connector actually is.

Displai Systems acquired Raydiant's products, technology, and customer contracts.

A screen on the wall, without the broadcast studio

Hoopla is a broadcast layer over your metrics, and it is good at it. Its own description of reach is office TVs with hardware they supply, plus laptops, tablets and mobile. Novigem now has a wallboard too: a fullscreen leaderboard with podium and rankings, real photos, points over time, the active challenge, an activity ticker, and a celebration when someone earns a badge. It is included in every plan and there is no limit on the number of screens. Where Hoopla is still ahead is production: broadcast-style video segments, the wider recognition formats, and the hardware they ship you. Novigem gives you a URL and you supply the display. Novigem's leaderboards and challenges also render in Salesforce Lightning, on the record pages reps already work in, so the wallboard adds a surface rather than being the only one.

Reach your team on office TVs (free proprietary hardware), laptops, tablets, and mobile whether they're in-office, remote, or hybrid.

Metrics pulled out, versus points calculated in place

Hoopla pulls live metrics from Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Talkdesk, Google Sheets and a REST API. That breadth is the point of the architecture. If your motivation data is spread across a dialer, a spreadsheet and a CRM, Hoopla can put it all on one board and Novigem cannot. The trade is that your Salesforce records are read out to a second system. Novigem calculates points inside the org when a rep saves a record, on any object including the custom ones your ops team built, so there is no copy to secure and no refresh interval to reason about.

Pull live metrics automatically from Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Talkdesk, Google Sheets, REST API, and more.

Pricing you can read, versus pricing you have to ask for

Hoopla does not publish prices. The site runs on a demo booking. Novigem is EUR 399/month for 5 to 15 users and EUR 699/month for 16 to 30, on the pricing page and on this one. We are not going to guess Hoopla's number, and no third-party figure we found was solid enough to print. Ask them for it and hold it next to ours.

Be honest with yourself

Is Novigem the right switch?

Switch if
  • Your reps work in Salesforce all day and a wall screen is not where they look
  • Your data must stay inside your Salesforce org · compliance, GDPR, or a security review you have to pass
  • You want a wall screen without paying for a broadcast platform around it
  • You want points on any Salesforce object, including the custom ones your ops team built
  • CRM hygiene is the problem you are solving, not visibility on a screen
  • You want a price you can model before you book a demo
Stay if
  • Broadcast production is the point · video segments and studio-style presentation, not just a live leaderboard
  • You want display hardware supplied with the platform
  • Your metrics come from outside Salesforce too · Microsoft Dynamics, Talkdesk, spreadsheets
  • Broadcast production values on a shared screen are part of why you bought it
  • You are already live on Hoopla and your team responds to it
  • Recognition across a whole location, not only a sales team, is what you need

Migration

What switching actually looks like

Switching does not touch your Salesforce data. Novigem reads your existing objects and fields directly inside your org: no migration, no export, no modification of your CRM records. Most teams complete setup in 2-4 hours with no developer involvement.
