Spinify Alternative

Spinify alternatives for Salesforce teams: what to evaluate before switching

Spinify connects to Salesforce via an API sync. Your data leaves your org. Novigem runs natively inside it. For teams where data residency, sync reliability, or a single login matters, that difference is real.

Teams evaluating Spinify alternatives usually want one of two things: Salesforce-native architecture (no external sync, no data leaving the org) or predictable flat-rate pricing that doesn't grow with every new hire. Sometimes both.

Spinify is a capable sales gamification platform. But the architecture is external: Spinify's AppExchange connector pushes your Salesforce data to their servers. For teams where data residency matters, that distinction is real. Novigem now has a TV board of its own, and it works the other way around: it reads your org live and keeps no copy.

Novigem is a managed package that runs inside your Salesforce org. No sync, no second account, no external data store. The comparison below covers where the difference is material and where it isn't.

The differences that matter

What to evaluate when switching from Spinify

01

Your data leaves your org, and sync creates drift

Spinify's AppExchange app is a connector that pushes your Salesforce data to Spinify's external API: your records leave your org and are stored on their servers. When data lives in two systems, it can fall out of sync. User reviews on G2 and Capterra document leaderboards showing different numbers than Salesforce, extended support resolution times, and one reviewer who abandoned the tool after persistent data capture issues.

The Spinify connector is used to sync various objects to your Spinify account to use on leaderboards and reports.

02

Both put a board on the wall · only one copies your data to do it

Novigem Wallboard is a fullscreen leaderboard for a screen on your sales floor: podium and rankings with real photos, points over time, the active challenge, an activity ticker, and a badge celebration when someone earns one. The difference is underneath. Spinify's screen is fed by the copy of your data sitting on Spinify's servers. The wallboard reads your org directly and stores nothing at all: no database, no sync, no copy. Each screen signs in with Salesforce itself, so it shows only what that user is allowed to see. And Spinify meters TV displays by tier, three on the lower plans. Novigem includes the wallboard in every plan with no limit on screens.

03

Per-user pricing vs. flat-rate

Spinify's entry tier, Sardine, is $29 per user per month billed monthly, and the tiers above it are $49 and $69 per user billed annually. Every new hire adds to the bill. Novigem charges a flat rate: EUR 399/month covers the whole 5-15 person team, and at 30 users Novigem Business at EUR 699/month sits against roughly $870/month on Sardine. Worth knowing that Spinify's tiers differ by how much help you get launching rather than by features, and that its enterprise tier is a flat annual contract rather than per seat.

04

One login vs. two

Novigem runs inside your existing Salesforce session with no separate account or password. Spinify requires a separate account on Auth0, with SSO needing additional configuration. For RevOps teams managing access in Salesforce, this means maintaining two identity systems.

Be honest with yourself

Is Novigem the right switch?

Switch if
  • Your data must stay inside your Salesforce org · compliance, GDPR, or internal security policy
  • Spinify sync has caused discrepancies between your leaderboards and your Salesforce records
  • You are paying for TV displays by tier · Spinify meters them, Novigem includes the wallboard in every plan
  • Per-user pricing is growing faster than expected as you hire
  • Your reps live in Salesforce Lightning · you want gamification where the work happens
  • CRM hygiene is the core problem · you want behaviour reinforcement, not just KPI visibility
Stay if
  • You want the vendor to supply and manage the screens themselves · Novigem gives you a URL and you provide the display
  • Spinify sync is reliable for your team and you are already configured
  • Your team does not primarily work inside Salesforce Lightning
  • You need Spinify's AI coaching features
  • Your team is small and Spinify's per-user rate is lower than Novigem's flat minimum

Migration

What switching actually looks like

Switching does not touch your Salesforce data. Novigem reads your existing objects and fields directly inside your org: no migration, no export, no modification of your CRM records. Most teams complete setup in 2-4 hours with no developer involvement.
